Twitter Lists Rock!
I love being able to organize an categorize stuff efficiently. Twitter has always been a bit hard to sort through all the information from the people you follow. Even using a program like TweetDeck, it’s still a challenge. Now with Twitter Lists, each person we follow can be assigned to one or more lists that we define. These lists can be public or private, the difference being public...

Xerox breakthrough in printing RFIDs
I’m really excited about this news! If Xerox can bring down the cost of printing RFID tags on products instead of barcodes, we won’t have to stand in line and waste time scanning each and every item at the grocery store checkout! Just walk through the RFID scanner, it detects every product in your cart at the same time, swipe your card and you’re done. Hold on, why even swipe a...

The city of LA is replacing their current email...
Los Angeles is replacing GroupWise with Google Apps. Zoom The LA City Council Tuesday approved a multi-million dollar deal that will see the City of Los Angeles’ 30,000 employees rely on Google Apps for e-mail and other Internet services. However, while most are labeling the $7.2 million deal as a big win for Google, a significant amount of people are talking about what the...

Google Maps Navigation for Android 2.0
via googleblog.blogspot.com Might this be the future of GPS navigation? All I can say is wow! Now I really want the Droid from Verizon. One thing worth mentioning is Google Map’s live traffic may be the best traffic service yet. It’s free for one, and it uses data from other people’s Internet connected phones with Google Maps installed to provide traffic data on side...

BPA Exposure from Receipts
via thedailygreen.com Toxins are hiding everywhere! Life is like a minefield these days. I can’t believe how many things that I used to think were safe have turned out to be terrible sources of contamination from one toxic substance or another. Baby car seats, drapes, couches, plain old dust, receipts, plastic bottles, the inner lining of metal canned food containers, non-stick pans, and...

New Gmail Lab: Got the wrong Bob?
via gmailblog.blogspot.com This is really cool, Gmail just keeps getting better! Some of these labs are quite useful. Compared to a desktop application like Outlook, it’s more difficult for Microsoft to add new features into Outlook at such a pace. They’d have to release a new version, make people pay for it, and then get it to install and run properly. No thank you! Posted via...

Quick Search Box for Android
via googlemobile.blogspot.com As you know, Google does search really well. Chrome has the Omnibox and now Android has QSB! I’m excited to try the voice recognition too. You may not know, Google has come a long way with their voice recognition by training and fine-tuning their software through millions of people using their free 411 service goog-411. Posted via web from Keegan’s...

Android Coming to Verizon
I’m happy Verizon is choosing to go with Google’s open Android platform, and along with that comes Google Voice! Apple lost me as a potential customer when they rejected the Google Voice app for the iPhone. Bad Apple. http://bits.blogs.nytimes.com/2009/10/06/verizon-backs-android Posted via web from Keegan’s Posterous | Comment »
